Coffee shop on the Granville Strip serving Turkish brunch and desserts as well as typical cafe fare (sandwiches, baked goods, and of course coffee and tea). Huge menu with lots of variety! I ordered a za’atar pide, a magnolia dessert (pudding layered with strawberries and biscuit crumbs), and a rose petals tea. The pide was great, a little crispy and thin but sturdy, lots of za’atar. It was pretty big too, which I was not expecting considering the price is something like 7! The magnolia was a nice treat too with a nostalgic taste - first time trying it and it reminded me a little of strawberry shortcake. The cafe is very spacious with a good amount of seating but not cramped. Even though it was moderately busy while I visited for lunch it was fairly quiet. The staff was very polite, and they bring your food to your table.

Best foods and drinks in the Vancouver, i would recommend everyone. Lentil soup amazing as well as the lahmajoun. Don’t forget to try “Ayran” the yogurt drink. Great service and atmosphere. Menu is nicely filled. Definitely should try anytime soon.

This is such a unique and great spot! They offer FRESH quick and tasty food for very reasonable price. I have tried their lahmajun and different types of pides, and what is consistent every and each time is the taste and freshness. The cheese pide is a MUST TRY. Staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure the best experience for customers. Once we we were taking out, and they offered ice in a cup, which is a small thing but adds to the overall experience. If you need a quick tasty bite in downtown, this is your place.

We visited Flamingo Cafe on Thursday and had a wonderful experience! The service was exceptional—special thanks to Eylul and Muhammet, who were both incredibly kind and attentive. The food was delicious, especially the Turkish dishes—they were authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy place with great service and amazing Turkish food!

Everything is just perfect here! Best Lahmajun and Pide!!! Free coffee with food We heard about this place from a friend at our break time, we decided to go and try their Lahmajun. Wow, we were amazed with the taste and prices! The Lahmajun I should say is the best in Vancouver based on the quality, taste, and the amount of beef used on the bread. Also, it is only 5.99. I also ordered Pide for to go, but I just couldn't resist and wait, and I ate the whole dish there. It tasted so delicious, and the crust was amazing, it reminded me of the Piroshki dough. We also got Ayran for only 2 which was very tasty. Sirloin Burger is very fresh and tasty it also comes with fries for only 12.99! The prices are very affordable for the quality and taste. 2 Baklava for 3.25 is the best deal! The staff are so friendly and helpful. They were so welcoming and nice. We were actually offered free coffee with our food! Recommendation: The place can have a better fan for getting the smell out of the cafe.

It’s now become a tradition for us to stop by Flamingo either before or after an event. Each time, I find it hard to decide between the cheese pide, vegetarian spinach pide, beef pide, or the lahmajun! Their mezes are also incredibly delicious and always fresh. The warm hospitality makes you feel at home, and ending the meal with authentic Turkish tea is pure joy. We hosted a community engagement event and they served everyone at the same time without any single delay or issue. Everything was fresh and directly from the oven. They were extremely helpful in every stage and helped us to have an unforgettable event. I highly recommend everyone to try this amazing place!
